THE ROLE | HR&A is seeking to hire an Executive Assistant, Tech & Society in our New York office. Danny Fuchs is the Studio Lead for HR&A’s new Tech & Society studio. This role will provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to Danny Fuchs and the Tech & Society Studio. Partner with Danny and the Studio's Director of Strategy and Operations to keep operations running smoothly so leadership can stay focused on growing our impact.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES |
Leadership Support
Manage calendars and logistics for Danny Fuchs, to ensure that his time is managed effectively; build awareness of key relationships to facilitate effective time management
Ensure the Studio Lead is aware of upcoming deadlines, team priorities, and open items.
Scope and manage special projects for the Studio Lead, from organizing gatherings with leaders in government, philanthropy and business, to managing conference and event appearances
Support the onboarding of new team members into the Studio.
Prepare studio meeting agendas and manage follow‑up actions.
Studio Operations and Community Building
Lead and coordinate studio social and team building activities.
Ensure that data reporting is timely and accurate to keep studio dashboards and reports up to date; track and report on studio metrics, including budget, staff hours, and project activity; track and help analyze how staff time is allocated across the studio.
Support special projects, presentations, and planning as needed.
Materials & Systems
Become familiar with all of the areas of expertise of the studio; Maintain the studio's library of case studies, proposal materials, deliverables, and key documents.
Track studio contacts and relationships across clients, partners, and key stakeholders and maintain appropriate cadences for touch points.
Build and maintain processes that keep things running efficiently, including through the use of AI.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED | 2-3 years of work experience supporting C-level executives or senior management. An associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Professional services firm (consulting) experience is preferred.
HYBRID WORK POLICY | HR&A fosters a collaborative and flexible work environment through our hybrid work policy. Employees work from the office at least three days a week, which allows individuals the freedom to balance their professional and personal lives while maintaining a strong connection to their teams.
COMPENSATION | The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $87,000 per year, plus the opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus. Where an offer falls inside this pay range is dependent on experience. We offer competitive compensation packages, based on qualifications and experience. We are an employee-owned company, meaning you will have the opportunity to benefit from the firm’s growth over time through participation in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan. Each year, the firm will contribute funds to this long-term wealth-building account and may make contributions to other retirement accounts. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package that goes well beyond coverage of 90-95% of healthcare premiums, including dental and vision coverage.
